PTFE-lined gate valve
I. Introduction:
A PTFE-lined gate valve is a type of gate valve. The opening and closing part of the gate valve is the gate, whose movement direction is perpendicular to the fluid direction. The gate valve can only be fully opened or fully closed, and cannot be used for regulation or throttling. The gate valve adopts a forced seal, which means that when the valve is closed, external force is required to press the gate against the valve seat to ensure the sealing performance of the sealing surface. The gate of a PTFE-lined gate valve moves linearly together with the valve stem; this type is called a rising stem gate valve, also known as an outside screw and yoke gate valve. Usually, there is a trapezoidal thread on the rising stem. Through the nut at the top of the valve and the guide groove on the valve body, the rotary motion is converted into linear motion, which means the operating torque is converted into operating thrust.
II. Advantages:
1. Small fluid resistance, and the sealing surface is less subject to scouring and erosion by the medium.
2. More labor-saving for opening and closing.
3. No restriction on medium flow direction, no flow disturbance, and no pressure drop.
4. Simple shape, short structural length, good manufacturability, and wide application range.

V. Installation and Maintenance:
1. The handwheel, handle and transmission mechanism are not allowed to be used for lifting, and collisions are strictly prohibited.
2. The gate valve shall be installed vertically (i.e., the valve stem is in a vertical position, and the handwheel is at the top).
3. Install in accordance with the provisions of the product instruction manual.
4. If the valve is frequently opened and closed, lubricate at least once a month.
